Funghi San Giorgio was born in 1980, when Orazio Tietto enthusiast from the cultivation of mushrooms decided that the time had come to realize in a small company his passion for mycology, so he decided to start the business and dedicated to the Saint Giorgio patrono of the town where the production resides.
Then he began with little economic means to build local production which were soon expanded to take the company to a sufficient size to ensure good continuity of cultivation but still retaining the characteristic of "family business".
Great attention to product quality and customer satisfaction have led over the years the "Funghi San Giorgio" to occupy a niche market that satisfies the most demanding consumers and the recent ICEA organic producer certification demonstrates the continued commitment and desire to produce tasty and healthy foods.
